Fragility.
The word conjures images of something breakable. In the broad sense, it can apply to many things. Nature is fragile in the face of a storm. Human relationships are fragile, as are our relationships with God, and our understanding of ourselves. Dreams are fragile, those we chase and those we set aside. In her first collection of poems, Sinead Tyrone brings out many concepts of fragility. Hold her individual images up, one at a time, to contemplate and to treasure the fragility that moves in and around your own life.
